Wickham Lane SEN School

We were first contacted in April 2015 about this project. Wickham Lane SEN were having refurbishment works undertaken and required 3 canopies in total consisting of creating a curved free-standing walkway leading to a sheltered mini bus drop off point which is a cantilever canopy and a wall fixed entrance half curved canopy This was a large complex of canopies totalling 220m².

Aliport Commercial undertook 3 site visits to fully understand the project, measure up and produce the designs for the new canopies to be installed. The canopy design was changed prior to commencement which led to a further site visit. Considerations for these works were the scale of the works due to the large expanse of the canopy and also that the site was having other construction works completed in the form of an extension and therefore other contractors would be on site undertaking other works.

Work commenced works in February 2016 and over a 5 week duration installed all three canopies. They were all powder-coated Green with White Roofs as requested by the school. The works were all completed in line with the required time-scale, Working closely with other contractors on site to ensure work could be conducted concurrently and safely the project was completed successfully and the canopies look stunning on site.
